Wednesday, May 22 work party

The Library at STM will be hosting a work party on Wednesday, May 22 from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. (203 Log Cabin Road, Arundel).

We will be describing and preserving loose photographs from various states. If you've never been to one of our work parties, please RSVP below and we'll make sure to have something for you to work on. Looking especially for folks with expertise in the Mid-West states.

The Wason Manufacturing Company's Builder's Photos

All 2920 of the negatives from the Wason Collection have been scanned and preserved.  We are currently uploading all of them to our image collections at Digital Maine.

We're very excited by the progress we've made on this project.  We're pretty sure this is the only practically comprehensive negative collection of this material.

Celebrating 10 years of the Main Line newsletter

Ed Ramsdell, former Chair and current Friend of the Seashore Trolley Museum Library Committee, has been quietly turning out our favorite newsletter, the Main Line, every month for the past ten years!

Every issue is jam-packed with interesting news and intriguing trolley lore.  We have a new blog page that has all of the back issues of the Main Line for your perusing pleasure.

And here's the current issue to get you through the doldrums of late winter:

Ed welcomes feedback, constructive criticism, and story ideas for the Main Line.  Send your thoughts and ideas to TheMainLine@ramsdell.com

And THANK YOU, Ed. for all of your hard work over the past ten years!
